I really love this invitation but the liner only comes in three colors.  Purple (shown), silver and pearl.  Blech.  I really thought they’d have sage.  Or even yellow.  Why only 3 colors?  Practically all the other one’s have sage as an option.  Just our luck

Eeeeek!  When you put it in those terms (weeks!) it seems like such a little ways away!  Eeeeek!

We decided that we would be registering at Macy’s and Bed, Bath & Beyond. I started both of our registries online and added just a few things, so that when we went to the actual stores, it wouldn’t take as long.  No papers to fill out, just grab a gun and go, right?

Well, this past Saturday night, July 3rd, we went to Macy’s.  We had planned on going to Bed, Bath & Beyond afterwards, but it turns out that even if you register online, it still takes a long time to figure out what you need, what you both like, and what you think would go together.  So, we didn’t leave there until 930pm, so there was no way we could have gone to Bed Bath & Beyond.  That will have to wait for another day!

Sean and I will be going to start/finish our registries this weekend. 

It sorta makes it seem a little more real, though not completely.  I gather that this is a normal occurence for most brides, as I’ve talked with a few of my friends, who, during their own wedding planning, felt very similar.  It all feels like it’s happening to other people.  Or that, it’s not really happening at all.  Like, I’ll wake up at any point and it will still be christmas and none of this has happened.

Ha!  Instead we’re all of 11 months out.  Time to make plans for dress shopping and for engagement announcements and invitations for the family party.  I’m thinking that once I get all the girls together and we start really looking at dresses and trying them on, and arguing about style and color...then, then it will be really real
