We got weddings and such this year! I don't know if I've mentioned it here or not, but most people in our immediate family already know that one of the main reasons that Sean and I have planned on a 2005 wedding is because both of his brothers are getting married this year! Eep! I'm so excited and thrilled for all of them. And it gives us time to plan. I like planning. I am a planner and the more time the better, even though I can not wait to be Sean's wife. Anyway, I went to my first future sister-in-law's (Michel) shower last weekend. She got some wonderful gifts that I'm sure will start off their new home nicely. It was so exciting to see how happy she was and how much love she was surrounded by. Adam and Michel are getting married June 4, 2004, which is just weeks away. I can't even imagine what they must be going through right now, preparing and making phone calls and meeting with vendors and finalizing so much stuff. I might get hives just thinking about it. Sean's other brother, Marc, is getting married July 25, 2004, to his bride, Kathleen, my next future-sister-in-law (my family is just doubling, it's so cool!). So, there are just so many happy fun times ahead in the coming months! It's going to fly by.

This went really well! So, well in fact, that we've booked it! Honestly, coming down the road, I feel in love. It's winter and yet, still beautiful. You can see the Lake right away and it's just breathtaking. The facility it self is very quaint and private. And practically on the lake. You can't get any closer! We'll be heading back there today to sign the contract and I'll definitely remember to take my camera. (forgot that yesterday) I want to get some shots of the outside area where we'll be actually getting married. (they do the ceremony and the reception) I have some ideas for the arbor. And I just want to have pictures. So, mark your calendars.

Thank you for all the responses to the poll below. It's a close call right now. But we have lots of time. We're closing in on the 3 month mark. Eep! It's hard to figure out what to do next, what to hold off on...but I'm sure it'll all start coming together soon enough. We have our first appointment for a reception site this Saturday at The Beach Club Estate, which is conveniently located right in the middle of the island. They offer both outdoor and indoor capabilities, which is high on our list. I still have to come up with a list of questions to ask. I'll be perusing my bridal planners this week for all the appropriate things to do and say. Wish us luck!
